- The refund policy of their chosen education provider, as detailed in their offer letter.
- Stellar Education Australia Pty. Ltd.’s refund policy, as outlined below.
General Refund Terms
Refund requests for tuition and enrolment fees are primarily governed by the respective education provider’s policy. In addition, Stellar Education Australia Pty. Ltd. applies administrative fees for processing refund requests:
Visa Refusal:
- An administrative fee of AU$330 applies for processing refund requests due to visa refusal.
- No administrative fee is charged by Stellar for processing Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) or Overseas Visitors Health Cover (OVHC) refunds if the visa was refused offshore.
Student-Initiated Cancellation (other than visa refusal):
- An administrative fee of AU$660 applies.
- An additional fee of AU$110 applies if assistance is required to cancel and process a refund for OSHC or OVHC.
Exception: If the student has commenced their course and the education provider offers no refund, Stellar will waive the AU$660 cancellation fee. However, the AU$110 health insurance administration fee may still apply.
Important Note: These administrative fees are separate from any deductions imposed by the education provider’s own refund policy.
